For those of you who have never been to Calpe, the picture here is of the 'Penon', which we climb once a week for exercise. I can seriously recommend that anybody wanting to leave Turkey and not wanting to return to the UK, consider moving to Spain. It is still quite wonderful here and not as expensive as some would have you believe. If you shop wisely and don't treat every day as a holiday, you can certainly live as cheaply here as in Turkey, if not even more so.
As you can see, we are up and running again and I would really appreciate any contributions, particularly information regarding the scum already named here and of course, any additions.
Many of you may be aware that the Turkish Government have already blocked one website that was dedicated to exposing the vile scum and Turkish practices, namely Altinkum Ripped Off This is the truth about these people and this is a country that over the last few days have re-iterated their genuine desire to join the EU. I say and many others say, KEEP THEM OUT, until they can behave in a civilised manner and apply their own laws already in place. They also need to learn some respect for foreigners living in their country and drop the superior attitude. A superior attitude does not go down too well in a country that cannot even offer a decent electricity supply to its citizens in the twenty first century.
